Return & Refund Policy

At Yean Mermaid House, we want you to feel confident with every purchase. While all sales are generally final, we do accept returns only for defective or incorrect items.
This policy helps us maintain fair pricing and hygiene standards for all customers.
2. Eligible Returns
You may request a return or exchange ONLY if:
- The item arrived damaged or defective
- You received the wrong size, color, or product from what you ordered
3. Non-Eligible Returns
We do not accept returns for:
- Change of mind
- Wrong size ordered by the customer
- Items that have been worn, used, or show signs of damage from customer handling
- Custom-sized or custom-designed mermaid tails
- Sale or promotional items
4. Return Request Window
You must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order to request a return or exchange. Requests made after 7 days cannot be processed.
5. Return Conditions
To be accepted, the item must be:
- Unused and unworn
- Free from water damage, stains, chlorine, sand, or makeup
- In its original packaging
- With original tags
If the item does not meet these conditions, we reserve the right to refuse the return.
6. Proof Required
To help us process your claim quickly, please provide:
- A clear photo or video of the defect or issue
A photo of the packaging
Your order number

7. Return Shipping
If the item is defective or incorrect due to our error, we will cover return shipping or offer a replacement without requiring you to return it — depending on the situation.
If the return does not meet the eligibility criteria, the customer is responsible for any shipping costs.
8. Refund & Replacement Options
Once your return is approved, you may choose:
A. Replacement
We will send you a new item at no extra cost.
B. Store Credit
You may choose store credit equal to the value of the defective item.
C. Refund (if no stock available)
If we cannot replace the item, a refund will be issued to your original payment method.
9. Processing Time
Return requests are usually processed within 25-30 business days after we receive all required information.
Refunds may take 25-30 business days depending on your bank or payment method.
